EYE-WITNESS REPORTS:
INTERESTING STORIES
|
When people witness things they do not understand they often try to describe it
in terms that are familiar to them, or that they know about. Like the story of
the six blind men trying to describe an elephant, several witnesses seeing the
same thing may describe it in very different terms. Many people however, instead
of trying to describe sightings do not talk about it for fear of ridicule. You
would be surprised how many people have stories that they are afraid to tell.
In this section you will find interesting stories about encounters with lights
that may or may not be genuine earthlights. These stories cannot be verified so
the criteria we use for posting reports in this section is the sincerity and
apparent honesty of the observer. They evidently saw something, what was it? We
have posted these “unscientific” stories for two reasons, first because they are
interesting, and second, as encouragement for others to come forward with their
stories. Do you have a story? Perhaps if enough people come forward with their
stories we will be able to see geographic and descriptive patterns.
